“Teleservice” is up-and-running
The “Teleservice” is now a reality.
After eleven months of tests in production the Teleservice has been adopted as a standard part of the United Converting machines. The whole United Converting lines will be supplied with the TELESERVICE system, a modem connected with the PLC via ADSL will constantly control all the machines functions. The system is connected with the United Converting electronic office so that the electronic service engineers can modify or rectify possible machines problems, directly from United Converting in real time, with no lose of time or production. In case a service engineer presence is required on site the TELESERVICE system will have in advance all the technical information needed to plan the service avoiding time waste. To have the TELESERVICE running the client shall supply at its charge a proper direct telephone line.
